  It was much like a murder mystery adventure. One from the 80's I'm thinking... Due to the uneven floors, dirty stained carpet, moss growing on the soffit + roof and linoleum flooring. Very dated unit. We had broken police crime scene seals affixed to our front and rear doors. I asked the front desk what horrific crime occurred in our Villa. The employee was miffed. Guess a call to the OPP would be the only way to find out! Seriously speaking out wives had a tough time sleeping while thinking about who might have died in there. Best spend your money elsewhere!

  The breaking point for us was the police seals that were still stuck on the doors to the front and back of the unit. They were dated from Jan 27 2018. Cleary some sort of investigation occurred in this room and the management was too lazy to even have someone take the seals off the windows. What happened is this room? Death, drug use ?? Who knows. When I asked the front desk they said they had no idea what that was about and that nothing they knew of had happened in the room.

  Not sure how, but our actual booking was actually made for Dec 24/25 and not the dates we requested. We realized this mix-up on Dec 26 while we were packing/getting ready. We called Georgian Resort right away but the reservation desk was closed and we were asked to call back. We called back early next morning and were asked to call Julie, the manager. We tried multiple times and left a couple messages too, but no one returned our call.

  Our kids were disappointed and we had our family visiting from overseas and this was our one trip together during the holidays. It was really uncourteous that no one returned our calls. We were hoping at the very least someone may be able to try and accommodate us in different rooms or modified dates, we would totally understand not getting a full refund but any gesture would have been appreciated and would have gone a long way in getting loyal customers and great word of mouth.

  Nice spacious two bedroom in the tower. Good for staying with a group. Pool reno is nice, but pool temperature is cold;( A couple degrees warmer would be great. Also, why is the hot tub room boarded up in a ski town hotel? Restaurant food is very good. Staff are friendly.

  Upon entering the villa it was absolutely disgusting. The carpets were filthy. There was holes in the walls. It was clear that it had been used and abused by previous guests and not maintained. The shower was full of hair. The shower curtains had mold on them. The dishes provided were barely cleaned. The televisions were so old and poor quality. The couches were super dirty.

  For $650 For 2 nights this place was not worth it. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nicer.

  We recently stayed at this hotel in a 3 bedroom villa with 2 other couples. We were looking for a place to hold us all with a kitchen we could cook meals it. The villa provided that.

  Room was upgraded to a suite and was newly renovated. Very nice with a gas fire place and jacuzzi tub. Deal with Scandinave spa was good as the hotel is conveniently located. For the price, would have been nice to include breakfast (or vouchers) and more than just 2 K-Cups per day. Staff were friendly and helpful.
